Obi Ajuonuma caught the Dj-ing vibe when he started following his dad to the Ray Power Studios every Saturday where his father hosted the Open House Party. He had the opportunity of watching DJ Jimmy Jatt and DJ FX2 playing in the studio & subconsciously learned the game. With his vast experience working with show promoters, Obi was able to open for Lupe Fiasco at an event that to him was his first and major breakthrough for a new DJ like him. Dj Obi has also had the opportunity of working with artists on stages such as Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, 2face, Lynxxx, M.I, Naeto C, and a host of others. To crown it all, DJ Obi conquered the world in 229 hours of DJ-ing, 10 days straight, and has landed himself a name in history for beating the former record holder of 200 hours Polish DJ Norbert Selmaj in 2014. He also has an endorsement deal with one of the top watch manufacturing brands in the world TAG Heuer, beverage giant Pepsi and Desperados.
